im not sure about the rest of the world but here in AUS the chickens are pumped full of that many steroids and hormones its not funny there absolutely massive. I dont want to buy organic chickens cos there expensive and small but my question is will eating chicken frequently cause any side effects because i dun wanna start growing man boobs or nuthing and i blame this on the reason the younger generations have such big knockers these days

cheers,
ben

Buy only Free Range, and eat no more than 3/4 times a week.

More expensive than normal, but cheaper than Organic.

I say go organic - free range is good but organic is better, in the UK only organic chickens are free of the growth hormones, roids etc not to mention their quality of life is significantly better

Is chicken worth all the hype about the protein? Nope, ground turkey, lean beef(or any beef) or ham can almost match it ounce for gram of protein. Heck two cups of milk is as much protein as 4 oz of chicken. Heck tuna blows the poo out of it in ounce for gram, but it comes down to what you like to eat the most.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Hmm, cups how big mate? Chicken is pretty protein dense...8oz of chicken breast contains over 50g of protein, so 4oz has about 25g..I don't think 2 cups of milk contains 25g of protein, more like 7g per cup?

i've never heard this "hype" about chicken being great for protein...chicken is fine. and nothing special. fears about hormones are overblown, concerns about antibiotics are legit but it comes down to what you're willing to pay for.

Hmm the chicken around Sacramento and Northern California is around 17-20 grams of protein per 4 ounces.

I guess milk has more protein in the States, the Fat Free Milk I drink has 8-10 grams per cup depending on the brand. Figures,we live on different sides of the earth.

If the package says All Natural that means chickens fed and processed naturally like they are supposed too and close to organic right?

I eat only All Natural chicken and hope this choice has been good for me plus I don't drink milk but drink Soy Milk with Omega-3 added.

Hmm, how much soy milk do you drink each day mate? I don't wanna pedal rumours and such, but you probably wanna be careful with how much soy you're consuming as a guy...it contains phytoestrogens, not to good. The issue is still debated tho..

i'm with espi. the key phrase here is "organic industry"... should be an obvious oxymoron.
