This is for all you aspiring Don Juans who feel that even when armed with all of this advice that you still can't get women and you see everyone you know, or everyone around you with "flaws" still pulling women all the time.

I'm going to give a metaphorical view on this situation.

We will refer to a katana.

For those of you who are failing, even failing miserably keep this in mind.

Regardless of where you are at the moment or if you've even been failing dates for a year, you still have a base. It might not be grounded yet or you might it might even be shaky but you still have it.

The information you have, here on this site at your disposal and the tools that you are armed with now are your "materials" for your Katana.

These materials are your base.

You're probably wondering where i'm going with this.

Let's revert a little. That guy you see, be it a friend, co worker, or even an enemy. The one that is always pulling the girls. You know this guy does not have the information that you are armed with. Yet.... he still gets more action than you! He has multiple girls! Worst yet... He acts and represents the vast majority of guys out there.

These guys, are the replicas. They are the fake Katana. They look just as good, they sure are shiny and many people want them. Replicas are everywhere. Say you wanted a Katana, not even knowing that the real ones exist anymore, or even being under the false assumption that the Replica you see before your eyes is a "real sword."

The thing is, you want a sword and you will buy it anyways. Hey.... the price is cheap too. They're common but you still want one.

The same applies to women. They do not believe that what they truly want exists anymore. They see a nice "Replica" of what they want and some even believe that what they behold is the be all end all of their desires. These "Replicas" are EVEYWHERE. They do not KNOW better. All they see is replicas and this is all they know of, or believe that they can attain. The real ones are a ridiculous pipe dream and a fantasy to own, or they do not exist.

Now here is you, the budding don juan. The hopeful, the inspired and the hungry.

You are unsharpened, far from glossy, and hell, you don't even have a tip yet.

What makes you so special?

You are made from the real deal. Being shaved and made from rare authentic materials. You just haven't been hammered, sharpened, and tooled yet.

These replicas look MUCH BETTER THAN YOU right now and hell, will even appear to be the exact same thing as the real deal. They will fool, and attract many.

The catch is that they are mass produced, cheap, and easy to come by. They are made from cheap, easy to attain materials. They are forged and passed through a machine and are easy to break.

One of the main differences between a real Katana and a fake one is that the real Katana goes through a grueling process. They are heated, hammered, folded, and heated up to a few thousand times to pound out all of the impurities of the steel, they are clay tempered and wrapped with stingray skin, and much detail is put into every part.

The replica Katana on the other hand is forged, or cut, sharpened, polished, chromed, and thrown on a conveyer belt.

YOU are the real Katana, you are going through a grevious process of hammering and great detail is being put into your craftsmanship. By no means will you finish early.

You are down and out because no one wants this ugly Katana. You will impress some onlookers at your process and the way you are being built, and the materials being put into you, but the fact of the matter is that you are not complete. People see these glossy, shiny, pretty replica Katanas and grab one of those instead.

That is what almost every guy out there is. He is a replica. He can pretend to be this, or pretend to be that but he can be found everywhere. Women differentiate on which replica they choose by the subtle differences between them.

Now, imagine when this Katana is done. Imagine people seeing a real Katana before their eyes, some didn't even know they existed, some knew, but NEVER did they think that they would own one.

One is before their eyes now, within their reach. Within grabbing distance.

Oh, what's happening now? EVERYONE wants it. It's real through and through, it can CUT RIGHT THROUGH the replicas. One reaches for it, another reaches for it, now people are fighting for it! Auctioning for it! WILLING TO DO ALMOST ANYTHING for this Katana.

When you become hammered and sharpened, you will play the same effect on women. They will not believe what they have found. They will do almost anything to get you. Once you are in their hands they DO NOT want to let go of you EVER. (Unless they really need cash .)

The materials you see on this site, the people here to help you.

This is your steel, your stingray skin, but YOU are the hammer.

YOU will decide if you want to go through the insane and long process of being made.

Don't be intimidated by replicas. They will stay where they are and will never be more.

You WILL get there but you need to go through the process.

It takes longer to build the real thing that it does to pump out a replica.

All shyt-tests are designed to weed out the fakes. I've been with my gf for a year now, and her biggest fear initially was that I couldn't be as awesome as I seemed. Lots of guys can replicate alpha traits for a while but cave after repeated testing. Not so the real deal, and I agree that the best way to achieve that integrity (literally, the ability to withstand pressure) is through what this site calls inner game - real confidence based on real strength of character and real achievements.

Great post by the way. Many people lose sight of the real goal, which is as you put to -- to become the authentic Katana and take the short cut to get girls/sex. Then they never truly develop.

No one ever said the road to being a DJ was easy. To master anything isn't just having the right mindset...It takes practice, and lots of it especially if you weren't talented to begin with like most of us. When I play sports(rugby, tennis, etc) I know that being good--let alone great--doesn't happen by simply reading theory and watching tapes of the games...It requires practice, lots, and lots, and lots, and even more lots...of practice. For tennis, last week alone I hit over 500 forehands, several hundred backhands, and over a hundred serves with training 2.5hours a day. Realistically, if I wanted to go pro with it, it will take afew more years of this...Getting good or great at something takes hard work, is what I'm stressing. It takes years to forge greatness, but the journey and destination are worth the price.

A quote I came up with myself(I'm sure some random guy somewhere else has too) is:

"The road to success is paved with failures."
