I'd say being widely known for anything that isnt embarassing would be a great thing.
Being known for "pimping" though.... I think you can work with that. Use a line like Charm said, and just allow for the reputation to bring women to you. Give them the chance to see the real you. They'll feel privledged.
On the other hand, if they really take the rumors to heart, you might face a lot of resistance. Then its your job to play it kool and let them decide for themselves what to think about you. If you try to disprove it, they'll most likely believe it even more.
Just be you man, either way.

Definitely a good thing on the whole. Universities are more like school than the real world in the sense that social proof is important. Just be sure that you don't seriously **** someone over cos that could ruin your reputation.

Yea Btw this was posted on facebook so its not just a word of mouth thing so I'm a little worried it might be taken a little too seriously by some. Or am I just being paranoid?
I have been working at hospital for 8 years and banged quite a few about 8 girls there. So over the years people have gotten to know me. When new girls come in they are attracted to me but girls tell them that I am bad news. It could be an advantage and a disadvantage, because when your talking to them they question you, and your motives. I have lost a couple of lays because of this. But then again you could play it like I never cared about the other girls but ur special. All around I think it is a bad thing. Because u might lose your chance with good girls. But the skanks will love u. LOl
