What clothing brands do people wear in college?

In highschool all the "cool kids" would wear AE, A&F and Hollister. I'm about to go clothes shopping for college and I need to know if people still wear the same brands in college or if those clothes will now be considered immature for me? Anyone at college now that knows or anybody else have any experience with this?

People wear what they want. College isn't ruled by name brands. You're kool because of who you are, not what you have.

Just buy what you like. You should really be beyond the way of thinking where you care about other's opinions anyway.

I go to school with a bunch of rich trendy kids. I keep seeing THE NORTH FACE everywhere.

Other fashion is more item-oriented than brand. Distressed jeans with unraveled cuffs and every kind of flip-flop imagineable are both popular.
