Well I know that you guys say it doesnt matter, but it will encourage me if I know.

I have dreads and today I felt like testing out peakock theoroy and put my hair straight up so it spread out like a palm tree. This chick who was going to get dinner and play mini golf with a group of friends apon first site called me a palm tree in a playful manner (flirting? IOI?). She seemed to be giving me attention helping me out with mini golf (I have a broken foot). She even iniciated some kino to help me hit the ball. Later out of the blue she said "I like you, you have dreads thats cool".

But then later after that we were talking about something and she said something to the extent that I was like a grandpa. I have had chicks who I know liked me say things similar, but it just seems weird.


anyway, I was trying to be flirty and ****y funny. Ill see what happens next time I see her.

I'm no master DJ, but when I read a post like yours and develop a gut about it, I like to share that gut:

My gut from reading your post is that she is interested in you.. She is finding unique things about you (your hair, your grampa like tendencies) and commenting on them. She said she likes you. All good signs in my opinion.

What I think will make you or break your chance with her is if you stay confident about "Grampa with Palm Tree Hair" and don't change a thing, or, if you send Grampa packing next time and appear to her as someone different. By not changing, you are telling her "I dont care what you had to say, I am who I am, like it or lump it". And confidence, as we all know from DJ-101, builds attraction in itself..

I hear ya on the ratio thing. My town is one big Sausage Fest.

cool sounds good. Im pretty damn good at being myself

Just ran into her today. She really wanted me to go to her rugby game tomorrow (I just met her..). I dont know if I will be able to because Im going camping, but its a good sign that she wanted me to go..
