For the past week or so my bicep has been giving me pain. Last night I did squats and my bicep is still hurting 18 hours later (keep in mind all I did was hold the bar steady on my back). It has gotten to the point that it hurts when I flex or squeeze the muscle. What's the damn deal?

It may stem from the fact that I haven't been curling as much, but have stuck to my regular tricep workout intensity. Has this happened to any of you? If so, how did you treat it and how long did it take to heal?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You probably just pulled/strained the muscle from the position it was in holding the bar. May take a week or two to recover. Go easy on it until it feels better!
