...that your quiet/shy. started my new job today, i was introduced to everyone, i said hi and all that ****. i work mostly with older people, everytime they would introduce me it would go like " hey this is Apc23, hes shy/quiet haha," "im sure in a few weeks he'll open up." i duno, i dont feel shy, if i needed help i asked, i guess i need to be more social?..its so annoying. i dont really have a question, this just bothers me. it happened at the interview too.

For some reason, in today's society, people who are introverted are looked down upon and seen as 'shy losers.' I, like you, am told that often. I just don't see the point in talking up everyone I see about the same old stuff every day.
