There are diffrent kinds of men with diffrent kinds of qualties that diffrent woman get attracted to.


I am speaking from a NYC prespective, but we have a mix of all kind of people so I feel like I am qualified to quantify people. Age group of 17 to 30.

You first have the

- Ghetto/Thug/Ganster type- wears baggy clothes, curses and has disregard for the law. Appears to be very tough, and dangerous, seems like they are ready to fight all the time any time of the day. Many people who are young and are in urban neighborhoods fit this category. You have many races that fit this description, Black, Spanish, Asian, White, Indian, Middle Eastern this style of dress and attitude has no racial boundries. Most Thug's will be found in lower economic neighboorhods but you may even find some in Rich white neighboorhods. Actually you will find alot in NYC, white guys who think they are black and act ghetto. Thugs usually have lots of slang and speak a diffrent language. Some of them fake this by just wearing baggy clothes while others will deal drugs and fight in gangs and will fight on a drop of a hat and can honestly be called tough. There are tough thugs and ones who think they are. But in order to be a real thug will mean being in trouble with the law all the time. You cant be a thug with a clean record, that means you havent stabbed anyone or shot anyone or fought anyone. If you fight long enough, you will get nabbed by the police. Then you have the ones who are in the gray area, they wear baggy clothes and thug clothes but are confrontational to a certain point and will fight here and there. They will go to a club and look tough or drive around in a car with tinted windows and if you cut them off they will curse you out. They are not afraid to fight but wont do so at any given moment.

Now what kinds of women respond to these kinds of men with these kinds of attitudes?

Certain kinds of women love thug/gangster men. Women who grow up in lower economic neighboorhods will have a tendency to be attracted to thug men, rarely will you find a business man with a "thug woman." But with woman they also segregate thug men based on race. Most black woman who like thug men, will like Black thug men. Most spanish women who like thug men will like spanish thug men. Most white girls who like the thug persona will like white thugs. Thats a fact of life deny it all you want, I will challenge you on that. But a good Dj can score any chick of any race, I also will challenge you on that.

Woman who are attracted to thug men dont care if the men are educated, or have a future in front of them, I have had a woman say "i dont care if he lived in a box, as long as I could feel safe in his arms" Thug men can provide this for women, so hence women are attracted to them. Many girls who I know who go for thug men tell me that he doesnt go to college or have a job but they still cry day and night over them. Thug men sometimes treat there woman badly and even beat them or yell and curse them.

The most successful person who embodies the Thug persona is the one who is in the gray area I mentioned earlier. Most women are threatened by a REAL thug. They will be frieghtened, he will shoot or steal and rob. Most women will not feel safe for their own lives with a real thug. But Women who like the thug persona will also run away from the pretenders, the ones who like to believe they are thugs but dont have any thug qualtites, but only have the exterior like a civic with nice rims and tints and exhaust, that looks like a fake racing car.

The thug in the gray area will be most sucessful because he embodies just the right level of qualties that woman look for. Tough, strong, ready to fight if need be, looks cool and dangerous and makes them feel excited. Confrontational, loves to create drama with his woman, and make her feel like crap, which in turn makes the woman want him more. He will not shoot or stab people, but he will fight for less than normal reasons. Say if somebody said something on the street to him, or even gave him a look or heard somebody said something about him. Basically a person with a short fuse, you wouldnt need much to make this person mad and make them fight you. The women who like thugs will not care about the other qualties of men such as sohpistication and education or even REAL wealth, but will probably be enticed with fake wealth like a car with nice rims.

Example: 50 cent

Italian Mobster wanna be.

Mobster wanna be's will usually have their hair in a blowout where there hair sticks up like a character in Dragon ball z. Their hair will be spiky and gelled up stiff. They usually wear tight shirts or polo shirts with jeans and white sneakers. They usually take alot of care of their skin. They also usually take care of their body, and are fit and slim and in good shape. Some of them will even talk like the people on the Soprano's or try and look like the three kids on Growing up Gotti. Most kids who try and impersonate mobsters are white, but you will have some asian's and indians who try to impersonate them to. Most kids who impersonate the mobster persona will be middle class and get their money from their parents. They will drive around in BMW's or Benz's at the age of 18 or 19. Cars like BMW 745i's that cost alot of money. They will usually give a vibe that they are very rich. So looking rich and wealthy is a key here. Just like the thug wanna be's there are those who can pull this look or attitude off more than others. Some kids will just look like mobsters but will not embody any of the charcteristics, again trying to be cool. Most women will not be attracted to mobster wanna be's that dont have these characteristics. The one's that do try and manage to attract girls will have almost the same kinds of personality traits that a Gray area thug will have but just dress diffrently and speak diffrently and be in a diffrrent economic level. I dont think I should say this, but I have known people who are not faking it, and it takes a very rare and diffrent but not neccesarily good kind of woman to get involved with these men.

The mobster wanna be's who have the same personal qualties like the gray area thug will be the most sucessful with women. The women who are attacted to mobster wanna be's are usually white and middle class also, they will also want their men to have the same qualities as the gray area gansters, except with more education and sophistication in language and behavior. But most mobster wanna be's tend to be less hostile than the gray area gangsters. I have seen that myself through experience.

Example: Growing up gotti (there was one episode with a thousand girls in the stands screaming for them)

Goth's or EMO's (emotional kinds)

I have not known many goths or hung out with them much but Goths will usually wear black clothing and have mohawks or have all kinds of spikes and piercings. They will usually look depressed or angry most of the time. They will usually also be white, there not to many black or spanish goths. They listen to death music that is about bleeding and dying. They sometimes cut their writ's and inflict bodily damage on themselves. Like the above, there are those who fake being a goth or those who actually embody all the characteristics of one. They usually dont have any slang of their own and talk regular gramatically correct english.

Women who like goth men are usually goth themselves and tend to be white also. They are not looking for the same qualites that women who like thugs or mob wanna be's are. They do want their men to be stronger but they are looking for guys who share their sense of the world, in a negative or depressed or counter culture way. So guys who are goths who have some alpha qualties will attract goth girls. Goths usually dont date other non goths.

Example: Incubus, Stained

Hipsters. ( I worked on a store in 5th ave so I know)

Hipsters usually dont have a certain set dress or style of talking. If you go to Manhattan you will see many of them walking around. Even though they dont have a certain style of dress, they tend to have hair that is loose and just brushed forward and they tend not to use gel. They give off an air of sophistication and education. They tend to be more sophisticated than Mob wanna be's. They speak great english and usually have very good communication skills. They also seem to be very witty and funny. They tend to have a vibe of self confidence and good self esteem.
BUT most of them tend to be skinny or rather take more to their intellectual side than their physical. They will usually not be physically aggressive or look threatning to you. They are not territorial and they dont look as if they will fight you as fast or get mad as fast. They also tend to be very friendly and they are very social and go to parties and high class clubs often. Hipsters are usually very well dressed in nice clothes like Bannana republic or Structure. Some hipsters may be into many sports and do many physical things, its harder to quanitfy hipsters. But most of them tend to not be as aggresive and be Alpha physically, but can be even more alpha and aggresive when it comes to intelligence and witt. They might not throw a fist at you but throw out a witty comment that makes you sink into your seat. Most hipsters are in their twenties.

Hipsters are usually upper-middle class and tend to be found in only urban cities, most of the time. You can usually find hipsters of diffrent races more frequently than mob wanna be's or goths. Alot of Asian's, whites and indians/Middle Easterns are hipsters. You will not find as many black or spanish hipsters. They also tend not to be flashy about money and will drive around cars like Audi's or Infinities, some even take the
bus and wear flip flops and walk their little chuwawa's. Some of them border gay manerism's and it can become hard to tell if they are straight or not. But there tends to be really no economic boundry with hipsters. Most hipsters start out at the upper middle class but you can find hipsters who cant afford a apartment of their own, or some who have had money for generations.

There main trait is that they are very intelligent and literate and tend to be less aggressive and physical than the other types of people.

The woman who look for these types of men, are also very intelligent and can be hipsters themselves, these woman tend to like Hipster men for their intelligence and their witt, Hipsters can be extremely ****y and funny. But there is a danger, some women might start a relationship with hipsters but a more alpha male of a diffrent type might come along and sweep her off her feet. So this is a weakness for hipsters.

Example: Maroon 5, Coldplay

Jocks

Jocks come in all races and colors and economic levels. They usually wear a variety of clothing and have no set or style of talking. But they usually tend to have regular english skills and can read and write well enough to communicate effectively. They tend to be very alpha and physical and territorial just like the gangsters and mob wanna be's. They dont have a set style of dress but they tend to be into risky things like sky diving, or racing cars or things most people tend to be afraid of. They might wear leather jackets or varisty jackets, they have to be on a sports team. That is the one of the main qualifying characteristic. Yet they dont have any set clothing or style of talk. They are physicall fit and are usually of very good build.

All kinds of woman go for the jock types, since they have the most important characteristic that they seek. They like to know that their man can protect them and is popular since he is on a team in college or Highschool.

Jocks tend to fight just as much as gangsters or mob wanna be's do, and tend to be alpha. There is usually no way a person can fake trying to be a jock because he or she needs to be on a sports team.

Examples: Kobe bryant, Derek Jeter


Goths, Thugs and Mob wanna be's and Jocks are usually younger people from ages 14-22. Hipsters and other categories of people are usually from older age groups.

As men who are successful with women get older they begin to see that its not mature to act ghetto or punk rock, well most men will see that and tend to gravitate toward diffrent types of categories.

I wont go into nerds or stoners because these type of men dont tend to get women.

Business men.

Business men will dress in suit and tie and not go clubbing as much but rather hob nob at elitest level parties. Most business men will use the fact that they have money to attract women to them and use their wealth as a jock does his popularity. They usually are rich and have nice cars and live lavish lifestyles. Business men can be alpha or not. But most business men will try and use their wealth to attract women rather than a aggresive attitude that gangsters or mob wanna be's will. Some business men will be very alpha due to them being jocks in HS and college and having being smart at the same time and this can make for a killer combination.

Alot of older sophisticated women will go after the business man, and a business man with alpha qualities will do better than other business men who just spin the fact that they are wealthy. Woman are are attracted to the idea of wealth and the power that comes with wealth, but sometimes give up their more instinctual desire of alpha maleness to date men with money.

Business men will usually be very educated also but may not be as witty and charming as a hipster will be. They may not also be as funny as a hipster but they will be very educated an smart, bordering nerd.

Example : Donald trumph

Rock/Punk motorcycle/Tom cruise type of guy.

You can call this the white equivalent of the gangster wanna be's. Since most gangster wanna be's reside in the city, Rock punk types reside in the suburbs. The age group for this type is usually older men but they have do have a set of dress but not a set of common speech.

These men are usually adventourous and enjoy risky things and are alpha just like gangster wanna be's are but wear more subdued clothing, like levis jeans and a old navy shirt or maybe wear extremly outlansih clothing, there is no quantifying set of dress. They have good communications skills but they tend to vary greatly. Like a guy from a motorcycle gang cant even read a magazine while Johny Depp has great verbal skills and is very witty and funny.

Example: Johny Depp, Tom Cruise.

Perfect Mixes.

They have the alpha qualities of Jocks and the verbal skills of hipsters. These men truely shine when it comes to attracting women.

Example : James Bond

Percentage mixes,

After about the age of 25 most men become this category. It means that you have some level or another of qualities but no set of qualties that places you in any group that has been listed above. That means your not aplha enough to be a Rock/Punk or witty enough to be a hipster. In other words you are just average and you dont shine in any one particular area, such as verbal skills or alpha maleness.

Example : Avg guy with a regualar car and regular job

Now these are just generalities and like ALL things execptions exist, you can fight them by all means but this is usually how the world works these days and how people subconsciencely put themselves in diffrent groups.

The more good qualties you have along with the type you are from above, the better looking women you will attract in each category. If you managed to get all the qualties that gangsters have and got them to the maximum then you would parallel 50 cent or any popular rap star who has groupies following him. Or if you can achieve the level of witt and humor of a hipster then you will get better looking women in that category.

The more Alpha and Verbal (Witty and ****y funny) skills or attiudes you possess the more women you will get in the category that you belong in. The category you belong in is just the type of popular culture you have decided to follow. Most of the categories that I have listed that are successful with women all have the same common qualties at the CORE that make them successful.

So try and work on qualties that best match your personality. Dont try to be a gangster if your not that way or try to act rich if your middle class. Try to sit down and see what kind of person you are and let those qualities shine. See where you belong and try and work on improving yourself.

I am also from New York and still live in New York so I can relate to your observations in regards to New York types of guys.

I'm sure there are other types in other parts of the country like the stereotypical REDNECK type.

These are the type of guys that spend their money on beer, shotguns, and pickup trucks.

Example: The Dukes of Hazzard (the movie and the old TV show)

A type that is universal is the SLACKER.

They come in all races and backgrounds and their common characteristic is their slacker attitude.

Believe it or not some of these guys do get women because some women are attracted to their "I don't give a f*ck" attitude.

By the way, after some analysis, I'm a mix of gray area thug, jock, and hipster characteristics.

I'm witty and educated, athletic and into sports, and although I'm a cool person, I'm not a man to f*ck with either.
