Hey guys,

recently broke up after some 7 years and most of my friends are in LTR.

I like to go out by myself but it's a bit awkward.

There are a few great bars I like to hang around in where the music isn't too loud and I like to sit at the bar. I really don't enjoy discos and such.

1-
There will usually be women trying to sit besides me but I can't help but feeling stupid for being there by myself. It's "feels" very unhealthy to me and wonder if I should be wasting my time there. I know I can speak with these women at times but can't help to think THEY think I am nuts for being there alone...

2- I hate staring at the barman/maid. I usually try to engange in a convo with who ever is sitting besides me and attract some more people but they are still strangers. I find some places where the bar is circular helps a bit because you can watch other people too. Any other cues please? Talking to the barmaid feel so hypocritical but it may be a solution.

3- Having past a few beers will turn me into a unconfident nice guy. Like I feel guilty for having had drinks (alone!) and feel sorry about myself. Anyone else have these symptoms?I tried switchign to pepsi so I can keep my guard up ;-) but I still like to drink too.


Anyways, I am not certain if I should be wasting my time in these places because I am able to engage with women at other places but I really like there sassy looks when they go out. (Just for show?)

You can use the woman around you as PAWNS to gradually work youself to hit on the HB targets as you gain social proof. Your problem is you dont have a PIVOT, so you have to improvise and use your PAWNS.

If you dont know what i'm talking about, then read the DJ bible, there is a site that has all these abbreviations that are linked to it and will go into further detail.

i have went to bar alone sometimes, i'd meet women easier that way without having friends giving me pressure
