"Stumbling on Happiness", by Daniel Gilbert.
First I want to say that this book has nothing to do with getting women, and in spite of its title it is not a self-help book. Rather, it looks at how the mind works in terms of perception, memory, and imagination, and how these things affect and influence our degree of happiness. It's like a psychology essay, only it's longer and wittier than most psychology essays
.
While it would be a stretch to say that reading the book made me happy, I can say that the things I learned from it have given me a new perspective and appreciation for the ideas preached on this site, and I think that everyone can benefit from reading this book at least as much as I have.
